The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping to identify a suspect. The suspect was involved in a commercial burglary at Citgo located at 2579 Emery Highway.
On March 26, 2023, at 6:19a.m., deputies responded to the commercial business for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a window was shattered. The suspect was not on scene. Upon reviewing the surveillance footage, the suspect walks to the window and looks over his shoulders. He then strikes the window repeatedly with a concrete brick. Entry was made inside by the suspect. He took cigarettes, lighters, beer, and t-shirts before fleeing.
The suspect is described as a middle-aged adult black male. He has a mustache. He was wearing a black ballcap, a black t-shirt with graphic designs on the front, possibly denim jeans, and white sneakers. A picture of the suspect is attached.
