The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred in the 6000 block of Hartley Bridge Road, just west of Sardis Church Road. The accident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 11:53 p.m.
It was reported that two motorcyclist were traveling west on Hartley Bridge Road. A pickup truck was traveling east. The driver of the pickup truck and the motorcyclists collided. The two motorcyclist died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
This accident is under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
The names of the deceased cannot be released until the next of kin has been notified.
