The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic accident that took place at 1:13 p.m.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Deer Run Drive and Beaver Oak Drive.It was reported that 76-year-old Joel Peed of Macon, may have experienced a medical emergency causing him to loose control of his vehicle, which struck a tree. Mr. Peed was pronounced deceased on the scene by Deputy Coroner Luann Stone. The next of kin was notified by the Coroner’s Office.
