The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred in the 6800 block of Columbus Rd just after 5:30pm Wednesday evening. It was reported that a green and brown Chevy Silverado, driven by 51yr old male Jackie Lewis Cooper Jr, of Knoxville GA, was traveling west on Columbus Rd when he went off the road and struck a house. It was reported that Cooper appeared to be having a medical issue. Cooper was transported to Navicent Health where he was pronounced deceased by staff. No one else was injured during the incident. Next of Kin has been notified.
