The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the parking lot of M&M Grocery store, located at 2760 Montpelier Avenue. The incident was called into the Macon-
Bibb County 911 Center at 12:51 a.m.
Investigators are collecting evidence and attempting to speak with possible witnesses to determine the circumstances around the fatal shooting. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
A female was shot during the incident and transported to the hospital by ambulance. The female victim, 28-year-old Nadia Symone Andrews, was pronounced deceased at the hospital at 1:43 a.m.
According to the Coroner’s Office the next of kin has been notified.
