The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred in the 1800 block of Woodliff Street.
The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 12:27 a.m. It was reported that a male individual was shot and transported to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance. The male was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The name of the deceased cannot be released until the next of kin has been notified. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
