The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred in the 3300 block of Houston Avenue. The incident took place at around 6:00 p.m.
It was reported that a man was fatally shot while standing in a parking lot at a local convenient store. The details surrounding the incident are being investigated.
La’Terry Kendrick, age 24, was fatally shot and transported to the hospital by others who were at the parking lot. The Coroner’s Office pronounced his death at 6:44 p.m. According to the Coroner’s Office, the next of kin has been notified.
