The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Vineville Avenue between Forest Avenue and Clisby Pl. just after 12:30am Monday morning. It was reported that 46yr old Teresa Lynn Reynolds of Macon was found lying in the left west bound lane of Vineville Ave with injuries to the head. The vehicle that ran over Reynolds was not on scene. Reynolds was pronounced deceased on scene by the Coroner’s Office personnel. It was determined that Reynolds was lying in the roadway when she was struck. The next of kin has been notified.
This accident is still under investigation. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking if you saw any suspicious activity while riding through this area, between midnight and 12:30am to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and leave a message for the Fatality Investigation Unit.
