On April 12, 2019 at 4:00 pm Bibb County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit were doing an area search of a known drug location when they located several bags of drugs.
Deputies along with K-9 Stormi were checking an abandoned house in the 3000 block of Rice Circle when they found several chip bags with marijuana inside of them. The bags were hidden in a hole in one of the walls.
Deputies continued to check the house and K-9 Stormi located a duffle bag in a floor vent. Inside the bag was a small pill press along with different powders. A small bag of heroin was located in a closet of the house. A box of 9mm bullets was also located.
All of the contraband was turned into the Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab. It will be disposed of in a safe manner. Due to the house being abandoned no one will be charged at this time. Attached is a picture of the drugs and pill press.
