The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind motorist traveling in the downtown area Saturday, July 30, 2016 of the following street closings for Bragg Jam.
The streets blocked off to traffic will be Cherry Street between Poplar Street and Mulberry Street, Second Street between Poplar Street and Mulberry Street, Third Street between Cherry Street and Mulberry Street, and Cotton Avenue between Second Street and Mulberry Street. The streets will be blocked beginning at 2:00 p.m. Saturday until 4:00 a.m. Sunday. No vehicles will be allowed to park within the closed areas of these streets during this time. No parking signs have already been posted to give advanced notice to motorist that park in the downtown area.
