Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Macon man for Burglary on July 22, 2019. Deputies were able to tie 33-year-old Quinvarius Zentrell Wood, of Macon to two burglaries that happened at the Family Dollar located at 2123 Pio Nono Avenue.

Deputies recognized Wood from the surveillance video of the burglary that happened on July 21, 2019, at 04:30 a.m. Deputies were then able to confirm that Wood broke into the same store on July 20, 2019, at 11:46 p.m. Both times Wood had taken large amounts of laundry detergent in a buggy. 

Deputies located Wood outside of Pawn Max at 2404 Pio Nono Avenue. When deputies tried to take Wood into custody, but he tried to run away. After a short struggle Wood was taken into custody.

Wood was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with two counts of Commercial Burglary, Obstruction of a Peace Officer, and Theft by Shoplifting (in an unrelated case). He is being held on a $3,150.00 bond at this time.
