The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Robbery of the Motel 6 at 6009 Harrison Road. The incident occurred just before 7:10am Thursday morning. It was reported that the suspect, described as a black male, entered the motel with his face covered. When the clerk saw the suspect she ran to a back room and locked herself in. The suspect then went behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer. After taking the cash he fled on foot. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect was described as being a black male wearing a black Dickies full jumper, black hoodie, with his face covered by a black ski mask.
