The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Dollar General, located at 3716 Houston Ave. The incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. Monday morning.
It was reported that a male suspect entered the store, brandishing a handgun. The suspect demanded money from the cash registers. Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the store. It was later discovered that the suspect was last seen running towards Colonial Terrace apartments, which is located directly across from the store.
The suspect is described as a black male. He was last seen wearing all black clothing with a ski mask that is described as black, with a picture of a skull with teeth.
