The Bibb Sheriff Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the “In N Out” Grocery, located at 1616 Nussbaun Avenue at around 1:15p.m. Tuesday afternoon. It was reported that while a clerk was stocking a cooler, two males were in the rear of the store playing video games.

One of the males brandished a handgun and approached the clerk, demanding money from the register. While the clerk was getting the money out of the register, the second suspect grabbed several loose packs of cigarettes off of a shelf. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, both men fled the scene. The male suspects were last seen running towards Little Richard Penniman Blvd.  No one was injured during this incident.

The first suspect was described as a black male. He was around 6 feet 3 inches in height and had a slender build. He had a “low cut” hairstyle, he was clean shaved, and was wearing a red shirt. This suspect was last seen brandishing a black handgun.

The second suspect was described as a black male. He was around 5 feet 8 inches in height and had a stocky build. He was described as being bald, wearing a dark colored shirt, and he was also clean shaved.
