The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of the Family Dollar at 951 Hill Crest Blvd just before 10:00pm. It was reported that a black male suspect dressed in dark clothes with his face covered entered the store and demanded money from the Clerk. The suspect was brandishing a chrome hand gun and after getting an undisclosed amount of money fled on foot towards Hill Crest Ave. No one was injured in the incident.
