The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at around 9:20p.m. Monday night at the Flash Foods, located at 3889 Vineville Avenue.
It was reported that a masked suspect, brandishing a black handgun, entered the store and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect fled the scene after getting an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen headed towards Forest Hill Road. The suspect possibly got into a 4 door, dark colored sedan. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, with a stocky build. He was wearing a black jacket and black bandana covered his face. No other description is available at this time.
