The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery of the Dollar General, located at 4471 Jeffersonville Road. The incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
According to witness statements, a male individual entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. Once the individual received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the store in an unknown direction. No one was injured during this incident.
The individual was described as a black male, he was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, white beanie hat and a blue facial covering. A photograph from the surveillance camera is attached to this media release.
