The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Central Georgia Regional Credit Union, located at 2040 Ingleside Avenue. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 9:05 a.m., Thursday.

It was reported that two masked individuals entered the bank. One of the individuals brandished a handgun and demanded money from the bank teller. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the two individuals fled the scene on foot. The males were last seen running towards the back of The Abberley at Ingleside apartment complex. No one was injured during this incident.

The first individual is described as a black male. He was last seen wearing a facial covering, black hooded jacket, black pants, and black shoes. This individual was also wearing sunglasses and gloves.

The second individual is also described as being a black male. He was last seen wearing a facial covering, a black hooded sweatshirt with a “Reebok “ logo on the front , black pants, and black shoes. This individual was also wearing sunglasses and gloves.
