The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Family Dollar, located at 3567 Houston Avenue. The incident took place at around 9:20p.m., Wednesday night.

It was reported that two males entered the store. One of the males presented what appeared to be a handgun, inside of a white bag. The suspects demanded cash from the cash registers. Once the suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash. They fled the store, last seen running south on Houston Avenue. No one was injured during this incident.

The first suspect was described as a male. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt over his head and he had sunglasses covering his eyes. He had on a black t-shirt and he had on a black long sleeved shirt with white skulls as an under shirt. The suspect also had on black pants. This suspect had a white bag and what appeared to be a handgun inside of the bag.

The second suspect was also described as a male. He was wearing a black shirt over his face and sunglasses covering his eyes. He had on a black hat and black jacket. This suspect had on blue jeans and black shoes.
