The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a Commercial Armed Robbery that occurred at the Oreilly Auto Parts store, located at 2491 Pionono Avenue. According to witness statements, a male suspect entered the store at around 8:26p.m. The suspect attempted to conceal his identity as he walked into the store with a dark colored hooded sweatshirt pulled tight over his face. The suspect demanded money from the clerk, as he pointed what appeared to be a weapon, from the pocket of his coat.
Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, he ran out of the store. The suspect was last seen running towards Anthony Road.
The suspect was described as a dark skinned black male. He was around 6ft. to 6 feet 2 inches in height. He weighed approximately 180 to 200 lbs. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and brown pants.
