The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred at the Fairbridge Inn, located at 105 Riverside Parkway. The incident was reported to the Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 11:00p.m. Thursday night.
According to witness statements, a male suspect entered the lobby of the hotel, brandishing a handgun. He demanded money from the hotel clerk. Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the scene, running towards the rear of the hotel. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a male, wearing a face covering, red hooded sweatshirt, and he was also wearing dark pants. He is described as being 6 feet 1 inches to 6 feet 2 inches in height, with a slender build.
