The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Family Dollar store, located at 160 Emery Highway. The incident took place at around 9:05p.m.
According to witness statements, two males entered the store, with their hoodies drawn over their faces, they were also brandishing guns. The suspects demanded cash from the registers. Once the suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the store in an unknown direction. No one was injured during this incident.
Suspect number one was described as a black male. He was brandishing a shotgun. He was last seen wearing a black in colored hoodie, gray colored sweat pants, and he had on white tennis shoes.
Suspect number two was described as a black male. He was brandishing a handgun. He was last seen wearing a black colored hoodie, black sweat pants, (with white stripes on the sides), and he had on black colored tennis shoes.
