The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred Tuesday night just before 9:30 p.m. at the Wendy’s Restaurant located at 1073 Gray Highway. It was reported that the suspect, described as a black male, entered the restaurant armed with a gun. The suspect went to the counter and demanded the money from the register. Once the employee gave the suspect the money from the register, he fled the store on foot and was last seen running towards the direction of the Flash Foods Store. There were several employees in the restaurant at the time of the robbery. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect was described as wearing black hoodie, blue pants. Initially it was reported that the suspect was wearing an ACE type bandage on his face but it was later described as gauze type bandages on his face. No other information is available at this time.
