The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery of the Murphy USA Gas Station, located at 6040 Harrison Rd. The incident occurred just after 9:00pm Saturday night. It was reported that the suspect, described as a black male, approached the Clerk brandishing a silver handgun and demanded money. After the suspect received an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the store in a silver vehicle in an unknown direction. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as being six feet tall, skinny in build, with dark complexion and wearing dark clothing.
