The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery of the Metro PCS at 5033 Brookhaven Road that occurred just before 2:00pm. Sunday evening. It was reported that a black male suspect, entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect was brandishing a pink handgun. After taking an undisclosed amount of money he fled on foot. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect was described as being around five feet ten inches tall, medium build, wearing a black jacket and pants, white shirt with red letters and a camouflage bucket/fishing hat.
