Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the Marathon Convenience Store at 4505 Broadway just after 9:30 p.m. Friday night in reference to an armed robbery of the business. It was reported that two suspects, described as black males, entered the store armed with handguns and demanded the employee open the cash register. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the store and fled the store on foot. Both suspects were described as wearing all black clothing and masks. The employee was not injured during the incident.
