Bibb Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the Flash Foods Convenience Store located at 4314 Pio Nono Avenue just before 2:00 a.m. Friday morning in reference to an armed robbery. It was reported that 3 black males wearing masks and dressed in all black, armed with handguns, entered the store. One of the suspects was wearing a gray hoodie under the dark clothing. The suspects ordered one employee to squat down on the floor while another employee was ordered to give the suspects the money from the register. One suspect took the money from the cash register while one of the other suspects took cigarettes from a shelf, dumping them into a trashcan.

One of the employees was struck on the right side of her head by one of the suspects with the gun he was holding. All three suspects ran from the store towards Dewey Street with the money from the store and cigarettes. The employee was checked out by paramedics at the scene and released. She did not go to the hospital.
