The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday morning just before 3:15 a.m. at the Flash Foods located at 4314 Pio Nono Avenue. It was reported that two black males entered the store through the front doors. The first suspect went to the storage room where he approached one employee and forced him to the front counter and ordered him to open up the register. The second suspect saw a second employee and forced him to the front counter also. Once the register was opened, the suspects took and undisclosed amount of cash along with some cigarettes and cigars. They fled the store on foot and were last seen running towards Dewey Street. No one was injured during the incident.

The first suspect was armed with two handguns. He was described as being tall and was wearing a black short sleeve shirt, bluejeaned pants and black tennis shoes with white soles and had a black cloth wrapped around his face. The second suspect was armed with a handgun. He was described as shorter in height and was wearing dark colored bluejeaned pants, a black hoodie with the hood pulled tight around his face, and white and black tennis shoes.
