The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred at the Flash Foods located at 3889 Vineville Avenue just before 3:45 a.m. Sunday morning. It was reported that the suspect, described as a black male, entered the store with a handgun and approached the clerk at the counter. The suspect demanded the money from the cash register. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, the suspect ran out of the store in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured during the incident.
The suspect was dressed in all black clothing. He was approximately 6’3” to 6’5” in height and weighed around 160 to 170 lbs. The handgun was described as a silver semi-auto pistol.
