The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of the Family Dollar store at 3656 Jeffersonville Rd. The incident occurred just before 10:00pm Wednesday night. It was reported that the suspect, described as a black male, entered the store and demanded money from the clerks. The suspect was brandishing a hand gun. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, he fled in a dark color car. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect was described as being around five foot nine inches tall, skinny build, wearing dark clothes with a bandana covering his face.
