The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of the Family Dollar store that is located at 3567 Houston Ave. The incident occurred just after 12:00pm Tuesday afternoon. It was reported that three suspects entered the store and demanded money from the clerks. Two of the suspects were brandishing handguns. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, they fled on foot, in an unknown direction. No one was injured in the incident.
The three suspects were described as black males wearing dark clothes with masks, covering their faces.
