The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at around 9:30 p.m. at the Dollar General located at 4996 Bloomfield Road. It was reported that the suspects, described as three black males, entered the store armed with handguns. They went to the cashier and demanded she open the register. One of the suspects jumped the counter and took the money out of the register. After taking the money all three suspects fled from the store on foot in an unknown direction. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspects were described as young. Two of the suspects were dressed in all black clothing. One suspect had a white stripe down the side of his pants legs. The third suspect was wearing beige, Dickie type, overalls. All three suspects were wearing some type of mask over their face.
