The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred Sunday morning just before 1:00 a.m. at the Circle K located at 3903 Arkwright Road. It was reported that two suspects entered the store and approached the employee, pointing a handgun at her. One suspect fired one shot into the ceiling, when he became frustrated with the employee not giving them the cash fast enough. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register and tobacco products. The suspect ran out of the store, last seen headed in the direction of I-75. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspects are described as two men wearing mask and all black clothing.
