The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of the Draft Day Barbershop at 3706 Mercer University Dr. just after 10:00 pm Tuesday night. It was reported that 39 yr old Terrence Thompson was cutting a customer’s hair when two black male suspects, dressed in dark clothes with their face covered , entered the shop and demanded money. One of the suspects was brandishing a chrome hand gun and during the incident fired a shot that struck Thompson in the head. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot. Thompson was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in Critical but stable condition at this time. No one else was injured during the incident. No other information is available at this time.
