The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery that took place at the Dollar General, located at 4944 Mount Pleasant Church Road. The incident occurred before 11:45 p.m.
It was reported that two men approached two store employees as they were closing the business. The two men brandished guns and demanded the employees open the store and then demanded the money from the business. Once the suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the store on foot.
No one was injured during this incident.
It was reported that the suspects were described as wearing black masks, all black clothing and gloves.
