The body found on June 21, 2018 has been identified as 58 year old Donna Whipple of Macon. Whipple is a white female that was last seen by friends on June 16, 2018. At this time the cause of death is still under investigation.

Investigation of Dead Body Found
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an unidentifiable female body found in the back yard of a vacant home in the 2800 block of Columbus Road ,just after 9:30pm Wednesday night.
It was reported that the body was found by a person checking the area for something that smelled dead. When deputies arrived they discovered a body that was badly decomposed. The race and cause of death of the female cannot be determined because of the level of decomposing.
The female was wearing a red shirt with “Thing 1” on the front of it.
