Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators made an arrest Wednesday in connection with the homicide of 16 year old Jayvon Sherman. In a combined effort with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit, Gang Unit, Special Investigations Unit, Sheriff’s Outreach Section and BOE Campus Police, information was discovered through the investigation that led investigators to the arrest of 19 year old Wesley Jamison Holt of Macon.
An arrest warrant for murder was served on Holt just after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Holt was being held in the Bibb County LEC on a probation violation.
