The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at Sunoco gas station, located at 2510 Pio Nono Ave., just after 2:00a.m. Sunday morning. It was reported that an argument that occurred at Overtyme Bar & Grill located at 2455 Pio Nono Ave continued at the Sunoco. During the argument it was reported that three people were shot, 26 year old Jodeci Jones , 21 years old Katlyn Wiley and 27 year old Ishmael McKinstry. No one else was injured in the incident. All three were transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center.
Ishmael McKinstry was released from the hospital today. Jodeci Jones is listed in stable condition. Katlyn Wiley is listed in stable but critical condition.
Sunday morning deputies detained James McKay Jr. ,of Macon at the scene of the incident. McKay was interviewed by investigators and was later transported to the Bibb Law Enforcement Center where he was charged with aggravated assault. McKay did bond out on a $27,700.00 bond.
