On July 1, 2019, at 10:26 p.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies answered a call of a person shot in the parking lot of the Marathon Gas Station, located at 3705 Irwinton Road. When deputies arrived on scene they found 21-year-old Clintavious Mister who had one gunshot wound to the head.
It was reported that Mister had gotten into an argument with a black male who had pulled up to the gas pumps. During the altercation, the suspect went to his vehicle a black pickup truck and retrieved a pistol from the vehicle. The suspect then walked back to where Mister was standing and shot him once in the head. The suspect then fled the scene before deputies arrived. Mister was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by staff. No one else was injured during the incident. Next of kin has been notified.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male with long dreads, last seen wearing a black shirt and white pants. A picture of the suspect is attached.
