The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single vehicle accident involving a Bibb County Sheriff’s deputy. It was reported that around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Forsyth and Rivoli Drive.
A deputy lost control of his patrol vehicle striking a wall and then overturning. The deputy was ejected from the patrol vehicle and did not survive. The deputy is identified as 27-year-old Kenterrous Taylor. It was reported that Taylor was responding to an burglary in progress on Zebulon Road. The family has been notified by Coroner Leon Jones. This incident is still under investigation.
