Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Traffic Investigators are investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on I-475 Southbound near Thomaston Road around 9:00p.m. Thursday night. It was reported that, a 1996 Lexus LS, driven by 22yr old Casey Daniely of Riverdale, was struck by a tractor trailer while traveling southbound on the interstate. It was reported that Daniely lost control of his vehicle and it left the roadway, coming to rest in the woods at the shoulder of the interstate. It was reported that the tractor trailer fled the scene.
Daniely and his two passengers, 33yr old Daryl Burroughs of Riverdale and 25yr old Aarion Palmer of Macon, were injured in the collision. Daniely and Burroughs were transported to Navicent Health by ambulance. Palmer declined medical assistance at the scene but was transported to the hospital by personal vehicle. Daniely is listed in critical but stable condition. Burroughs and Palmer are both listed in stable condition.
The description given of the tractor trailer in this incident is a red cab tractor trailer truck. A look out was issued to law enforcement agencies south of Bibb County along I-75.
