The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that happened at 2275 Gray Highway, Highland Hills Apartments, just before 01:00am. Patrol Deputies responded to the residence in reference to welfare check. Upon arrival they found 50 year-old Paula Maria Cunha, of Macon unresponsive. She was pronounced deceased on the scene, by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office. The case is being investigated as a suspicious death until a cause of death can be determined. Next of kin has been notified by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office.
