The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Shooting incident that was reported to have occurred at the corner of Walnut Street and Forest Avenue at 9:30 p.m. on November 5, 2019.
Deputies responded to the area of Walnut Street and Forest Avenue in regards to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival deputies found a male subject laying in the street with gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim, a 25-year-old male, was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in critical condition at this time. No one else was injured during this incident. There is no information on the suspect at this time.
The incident remains under investigation. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
