Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies were called to the intersection of Knightsbridge Road at Knightsbridge Place just before 11:00 p.m. Saturday night in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.
When deputies arrived on scene they found Melvin King, 30 years old of Macon , on the curb with a gunshot wound to his lower chest area.
King was not very cooperative with investigators. King was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for his gunshot wound.
No description is available of the suspect in this incident at the present time.
