Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 3716 Houston Avenue, Dollar General just after 8:00pm Friday night in reference to a person shot. It was reported that 16 year old Kyle Finney was walking down a pathway behind the vacant Church’s Chicken alone; when he heard several gun shots and started running. When Finney exited the pathway he discovered he had been shot in the right calf. Finney then called 911 for help. Finney reported he did not see who was firing the shots. Finney was transported to Navicent Health where he was treated. He is listed in stable condition.
