Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the English Ave area just after 1:30pm Wednesday. Deputies spoke with neighbors in the area but no one reported anyone being shot. Deputies responded to the Navicent Center just after 2:00pm in reference to a person shot. It was reported that 22 year old Estee Tharpe III. was walking to a friend’s house located near English Ave. Tharpe heard several gun shots and started running. Tharpe felt pain in his neck and discovered he had been shot. He was driven to the Navicent Center by a friend where he was treated for the gunshot wound. He is listed in stable condition.
