The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a person shot that occurred in the 600 block of Villa Esta Avenue, at 8:36 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to the area in regards to possible person shot. When deputies arrived they were unable to locate any victim at that time.
At 9:08 p.m. deputies were dispatched to an address in the 3900 block of Spencer Circle in regards to a person shot. When they arrived, they located a 67-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds to the groin area. It was reported that the victim was on Villa Esta Avenue when he was approached by multiple male subjects. One of the subjects pointed a gun at him and demanded money. The victim was shot during the incident and drove himself to the residence on Spencer Circle. The victim was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition at this time.
There is no information on the suspect at this time.
