Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 3415 McKenzie Drive at around 4:00 p.m. Saturday in reference to a report of a person shot. The victim, 51 year old Darrin Lewis was found sitting in a chair at the residence with a gunshot wound to the leg. Lewis reported that he and his stepdaughter’s boyfriend were discussing an issue about some work on a vehicle that the boyfriend, 27 year old Marquez Treshad Tuff, had paid Lewis for and was not satisfied. The discussion turned into an argument. During the argument Tuff pulled out a gun a shot Lewis in the left leg. Tuff fled the scene before deputies arrived.

Lewis was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital to be treated for the gunshot wound. Deputies are currently looking for Marquez Tuff. He is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing around 195 pounds. A 2014 photograph from the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center is attached of Tuff.
