Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are investigating the death of an infant that occurred earlier today. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence located in the 2800 block of Regina Drive at around 1:30p.m., in reference to a child reported to be unresponsive.
It was reported that a 3-month-old male infant was found unresponsive by the grandmother. Emergency medical services arrived at the residence and the child was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed.
