The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred at 2950 Rocky Creek Road, USA Grocery, just after 3:20 p.m. Thursday afternoon. It was reported that two males were in the parking lot of the store having a verbal altercation about a cellphone. Within minutes of the men arguing, shots were fired. It was reported that both men had guns. The victim, identified as 25 year old Kareem Mano, was fatally wounded by a gunshot to his chest. The other man fled the scene on foot.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking for the man who fled. He is described as a black male with a low haircut, red shirt, black sweatpants and red, white and black sneakers. No further information is available at this time.
